Indian Navy has issued notification of recruitment for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) officer for the course commencing from June 2021. Who can apply: CANDIDATES WHO have done BE/BTech in different trade with 60% marks or electronics/electronics. Candidates receiving postgraduate degree in physics can apply. Further, the candidate should have 60% total marks in class 10 and 12 and minimum 60 percentage points in English in class 10 or class XII. Selection Procedure: Shortlisting of application will be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the degree of qualification. The marks obtained by the candidates will be normalized in the qualification degree using the formula given on the Indian Navy website. Candidates will be informed for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS. Thereafter, a separate merit list will be prepared for medical test, aviation medical examination and extended NOC, regular NOC and special NOC.
Tell the candidates wishing to apply that, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, there is no Indian Naval Entrance Test (INET) to shortlist the candidate in the 21-course in view of the public interest. The final merit list for induction will be prepared only on the basis of SSB marks.
The course will begin in July 2021 for the Indian Naval Academy Education Branch, Executive and Technical Branch at Ezimala, Kerala. Selected candidates will be included as cadets for four years B.Tech course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering as per naval requirements.
