The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) issued a notification of Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (reet) 2021 on Tuesday. According to notifications, the process of online application for reet 2021 will commence from January 11. The last date of application is 8th February 2021. Admission letters will be issued from 14th April and will be examined on 25th April. The class six to eight examination will be from 10 am to 12.30 pm and will be from 2.30 to 5 pm for class one to five classes. The last date for depositing the fee on the bank’s branch by generating invoices is 4th February, 2021.

Detailed information on merit and minimum marks percentage will be seen on the board’s website from 11th January. Interested candidates will be able to apply by visiting rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/reet2021. 31000 teachers are to be recruited in the state through Rait.

Learn about reet changes
-Will include BSTC. Not included with B.Ed. Because the B.Ed has to do a six-month bridge course after becoming a level-1 teacher. There is no institution in the state.
-B.Ed with 50% marks in graduation was necessary for the first reet. Now there should be 50% marks in any one in graduation or PG with B.Ed.

-Merit was made in the merit of the first recruitment by adding 70% of the marks in reet and 30% weight age of graduation marks in level-2. Now, merit will be made by adding 90% of reet marks and 10% weightage of graduation marks in level-2 in teacher recruitment.
-In the first reet, GK of Rajasthan was not a priority. reet’s syllabus was fixed on the basis of ncte syllabus. Now reet will have questions related to the geographical location of the state, art culture, history.

In reet, many categories have been exempted from eligibility marks. According to the order, rait reserved categories will get concession in eligibility marks ranging from 5% to 20% marks. The minimum pass marks for various categories in reet have been thus fixed.
General / General Unreserved – 60 Marks (TSP & Non TSP)
Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 55 (Non TSP), 36 (TSP)
Scheduled Caste (SC), OBC, MBC & Economically Weaker Section – 55 Marks (Non TSP & TSP)
